The lovely twin villages of Town and Kirk Yetholm are less than a mile away and offer a well renowned butcher, general store, post office and two hotels, both of which serve excellent food. Kirk Yetholm is at the end of the Pennine Way and the Border Hotel will give a free drink to anyone who has completed the entire walk!

Alnwick Gardens: One of the most exciting gardens developed in the UK in recent times. A great day out for the family (30 miles).
